Starting this new adventure of painting along side Bob Ross, with the help of YouTube videos, has proved to be challenging, inspirational and a wonderful delight with how my paintings have turned out. The most challenging right now is videoing me painting because my camera may be a little more techy then I ever dreamed. So it would stop recording during my paintings and I would not realize it until I was completely done with my painting, so when it comes to my original plan of making a video with me painting, I lack the majority of video. The bright side is that this is all a learning process and I take it as that because my paintings tell a different story. The skills I am learning by following Bobs techniques are very present in my paintings. I am almost finished with Season 1 of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross and it has been so much fun seeing his earlier seasons that I never got to watch as reruns as a child on the PBS channel. I even started trying to paint without stopping the video to catch up so I am paint in real time only to pause with we clean brushes cause his way is much quicker than what I have supplies for and that has been a fun challenge as well mainly because I wonder how it was even possible to paint with out pausing Bob in order to catch up.
